Manu and Rogacien are living among brothers, in a house apart from Mboudiene, a small village in Senegal. Manu built an atypical house, with all religions and styles. He receives with enthusiasm his neighbors' kids, family and visitors. He is curious and cultivated. He travelled all over Africa, knew a lot of people, but always came back to his village. He is not married but he is happy next to the lagoon, with his project. Rogasien is younger and wants a different future. He works as a fisherman, in construction, never studied, and life in Europe appeals him sometimes to get a position. But for now, he feels alrwight next to the marsh, so he stays.
